Vandoliers are doing a French exclusive festival

23-07-2024

Early this year Vandoliers opened for Bowling For Soup and Less Than Jake on a string of UK dates. This month the band will be back over for a French festival.

A rowdy, Texas-based alt-country outfit, the Vandoliers emerged in the mid-2010s with a sound that melded Red Dirt country, rootsy rock & roll, a dash of Tejano flair, and the swaggering attitude of punk rock. Frontman Joshua Fleming spins heartfelt tales of Lone Star life, full of big emotions and cold beer, and the band kicks up plenty of dust as the guitars and drums join up with the cry of the fiddle and the occasional peal of the trumpet.

Vandoliers are a uniquely Texas band, distilling the Lone Star State’s vast and diverse musical identity into a raucous, breakneck vibe that’s all their own. After spending much of the last three years furiously writing and recording music, this Dallas-Fort Worth six-piece is back with 'The Vandoliers", a new album that proves these rollicking country punks are tighter, more cohesive and more sonically compelling than ever.

The one chance to get to see them in Europe this year is at the end of the month in France:
