The Datsuns set to unleash "Moonstruck Man" across Europe

Thu 02 Jul 2026

Time moves on, and so do The Datsuns. After a recent whirlwind run through their homeland of New Zealand and across Australia, the band return to Europe this July for a series of club shows and festivals. The set will feature songs from their forthcoming eighth album, Moonstruck Man, alongside favourites from their vast catalogue.

04/07: Rossum, NL — Rosrock
10/07: Utrecht, NL — TivoliVredenburg*
16/07: Lichtenvoorde, NL — Zwarte Cross
* with Daddy Long Legs, Crocodiles and more

Despite the ever-changing landscape, The Datsuns continue to carve their path, bringing years of rock ’n’ roll experience, lessons, and hard-earned mastery to their latest chapter. Moonstruck Man has been shaped, refined, and unleashed as the next evolution of the Datsun sound — a collection of riffs, rhythm, and raw energy.

Recorded with contributions from familiar Scandinavian collaborators and powered by the live drumming of Adam Lindmark of Dead Lord, the album delivers the band’s trademark blend of proto-rock grit, power-pop punch, and wild swagger. With Christian pushing forward after a challenging year and the rest of the clan bringing fresh ideas from across New Zealand and Europe, the result is another full-throttle statement.

To celebrate, The Datsuns bring their 2026 European tour through the northern reaches of the continent, delivering Aotearoa-born attitude and a live spectacle built on running, riffing, and dancing rock — studio-crafted, road-tested, and hot-wired alive.
