Skating Polly returns to Europe in October

 For over a decade, Skating Polly has embodied the raw energy of punk. Stepsisters Kelli Mayo and Peyton Bighorse formed the Oklahoma-bred band as kids, later joined by Kelli’s brother Kurtis in 2017. Their self-dubbed “ugly-pop” sound—unruly, subversive, and melodic—has earned them a devoted fanbase and collaborations with icons like Exene Cervenka and Calvin Johnson.

Their latest album, Chaos County Line, produced by Brad Wood (Exile in Guyville), showcases their evolution, blending art-punk, noise-rock, and power-pop with deeply personal storytelling. Across 18 tracks, they tackle themes of identity, relationships, and emotional turmoil with unfiltered honesty. Whether channeling angst, exhilaration, or catharsis, Skating Polly continues to craft music that resonates as both armor and release.
