Miranda and The Beat is a rock and roll band from New York City consisting of Miranda Zipse (guitar&vox), Dylan Fernandez(farfisa), Alvin Jackson (bass) and Ethan Glenn (drums). The band disrupted the New York scene in 2018 and became known for their high energy live shows and mesmerizing frontwoman which has earned them a reputation for their lawless gang mentality and fearless approach to punk.  

What originated as a two piece in California became a four piece in Brooklyn, The B-52s-meet- Fu Manchu (or Thin Lizzy, if you prefer) rock n’ roll band now calls New Orleans home base. They recently released Can’t Take It, a full studio album recorded in Berlin at King Khan Moon Studios where artists such as The Black Lips have cemented their sound. With the release Miranda and the Beat further cements their status as rising stars of the alternative underground.
