Five chances to catch Early James in the Netherlands this November

Early James returns to the Netherlands this month for five shows as part of his upcoming European tour. Blending blues, folk and country with evocative songwriting, dark humor and sharp-witted storytelling, James has developed a distinctive roots-driven sound that sets him apart within the Americana scene. Discovered by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, he signed to Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound, releasing his debut album Singing for My Supper in 2020.

The Dutch dates follow the release of Medium Raw, his third album for Easy Eye Sound, produced by Auerbach. Recorded live in a century-old Nashville house rather than a traditional studio, the album captures the raw energy that has become a defining feature of James’ music. With his most direct and unfiltered work to date, Medium Rawoffers another glimpse into the unconventional songwriting and musical approach of one of Americana’s most compelling voices.
