Erin Rae returns to Europe/UK in September/October for extensive tour

Fri 05 Sep 2025

Nashville-based singer-songwriter Erin Rae is set to bring her signature blend of dreamy indie folk, cosmic country, and retro pop to stages across Europe this September/October, marking her long-awaited return to international touring. The tour follows the success of her 2022 album Lighten Up, a vibrant, genre-blurring release produced by Jonathan Wilson (Father John Misty, Billy Strings), which added new sonic textures to Rae’s already rich catalog.

Born in Jackson, Tennessee and raised in a musical family, Rae has carved out a unique space in Americana and indie music since her early days with the Meanwhiles. Her 2018 solo debut Putting on Airs drew widespread acclaim for its emotional honesty and melodic depth, establishing her as one of Nashville’s most compelling voices. With Lighten Up, she expanded her palette, weaving in elements of light psychedelia and ‘70s-inspired pop while maintaining the introspective songwriting at the core of her work.

Erin Rae continues to evolve while staying rooted in the thoughtful storytelling that defines her sound. On the European tour she is joined by The Deep Dark Woods for the mainland part, while on the UK part she brings in the Hollow Hand band to back her up:
