Crocodiles return to the Netherlands for two shows
Mon 18 Aug 2025Crocodiles — the ever-evolving project of longtime collaborators Brandon Welchez and Charles Rowell — are heading back to the Netherlands for two explosive live shows. What started nearly 25 years ago at a chaotic punk gig in a San Diego Mexican restaurant has since grown into a global noise-pop odyssey. Over the years, the duo has shifted locations, line-ups, and styles, but never lost their core drive: to escape boredom and conformity through music, friendship, and creative risk-taking.
Their latest release, Upside Down In Heaven, recorded in France with producer Maxime Smadja, shows the band in top form — blending punk-pop, fuzzed-out garage, and dark glam into a sharp, hook-filled set of songs. From underground beginnings to cult status, Crocodiles continue to prove that rock & roll is at its best when it’s loud, messy, and a little unhinged.
With a reputation for sweat-soaked, high-energy performances and a back catalogue that spans everything from lo-fi chaos to glittering psych-pop, these upcoming shows promise an unfiltered dose of what Crocodiles do best: turning discontent into sound and setting every stage ablaze.
