American troubadour Todd Day Wait returns to Europe
Mon 07 Sep 2026American troubadour Todd Day Wait returns to Europe for another run of shows, bringing his raw blend of country, folk and blues to stages across the continent. With a career built on constant touring, street performances and a fiercely independent spirit, Wait has spent the past 15 years keeping the traditions of American roots music alive in his own unmistakable way.
His latest album, Letters From The Road, marks a new chapter for the Nashville-based songwriter and his first official release on vinyl and digital platforms. Produced by Mark Neill (The Black Keys, Charley Crockett), the album draws on the sounds of Jimmie Rodgers, Willie Nelson, Wynn Stewart and Kris Kristofferson, combining timeless country songwriting with the lived experience of a musician who has spent much of his life on the road.
Wait’s journey began in 2009, when he sold almost everything he owned, bought a Fender Rhodes and headed west with little money and no plan beyond making music. From busking the streets of New Orleans to playing honky-tonks in Nashville and festivals across Europe, he has built an international following largely on his own terms.
Now, with Letters From The Road opening a new chapter, Todd Day Wait returns to Europe to share his songs in the intimate, direct setting that has become synonymous with his live performances.
