Uncle Lucius brings 20th anniversary tour to Europe/UK in August/September

Second chances are a rarity in rock ’n’ roll, but Austin’s Uncle Lucius is making a compelling case for one. After a five-year hiatus, the platinum-selling group returns with Like It’s The Last One Left, a comeback album that feels less like a reunion and more like a reinvention. Recorded in their hometown, the record expands the band’s signature blend of gritty Americana and roots-rock with orchestral textures, bold production choices, and what frontman Kevin Galloway describes as a newfound sense of freedom. “There are no limitations this time around,” he says, pointing to a creative reset that has sharpened both the band’s perspective and its songwriting.

Uncle Lucius originally stepped away in 2018 after a decade of relentless touring and critically acclaimed releases. In the years that followed, their legacy only grew, fueled in part by the viral resurgence of “Keep the Wolves Away,” which earned gold and platinum certifications and introduced the band to a wider global audience. That renewed momentum ultimately drew the group back together, alongside new members and an evolved creative dynamic. Tracking the album live to analog tape and later layering in strings and harmonies, the expanded lineup has crafted what may be the most ambitious record of their career—one rooted in resilience, but unafraid to push boundaries.

With the new album marking the start of a fresh chapter, Uncle Lucius is taking their 20th anniverary tour to Europe and UK in August/September:
