The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band announce European tour for September/October

Thu 05 Mar 2026

Three-time Blues Music Award nominees The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band — often called “the greatest front-porch blues band in the world” — will return to Europe this September and October. Led by Reverend Peyton, widely regarded as one of today’s premier finger pickers, the trio has carried their fiery, roots-driven country blues to 38 countries and 48 U.S. states, earning a reputation for tent-revival-style live shows packed with virtuosity and heart.

Inspired early on by pilgrimages to Clarksdale to study under blues masters like T-Model Ford, Robert Belfour, and David “Honeyboy” Edwards, Peyton has become both a singular performer and a passionate evangelist for traditional blues. The band’s chart-topping album Dance Songs For Hard Times hit #1 on the Billboard, iTunes, and SiriusXM Blues charts, while their latest release, Honeysuckle, was produced by Peyton and mixed by Grammy winner Vance Powell.

Featuring special guests including The McCrary Sisters, Billy Branch, Michael Cleveland, and Colton Crawford of The Dead South, Honeysuckle finds the band returning to an intimate, acoustic-driven sound. European audiences can expect the same stomping rhythms, blazing fingerpicking, and boundless heart that have made The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band a global blues force.
