The Hanging Stars have carved out a unique place in the alt-country and psychedelic folk landscape. Melding sun-soaked West Coast Americana with moody British psychedelia, their sound is all glistening twelve-strings, twanging Telecasters, and lush four-part harmonies. Think Laurel Canyon sunshine meeting London rain. As MOJO put it: “Glowing, cosmic UK Americana... a set of epic soundtracks conjuring kindred spirits Teenage Fanclub and the Velvets.”
