Hailing from Cambridge, New Zealand, The Datsuns burst onto the scene in the early 2000s, spearheading a new wave of garage rock revival. Their self-titled debut album (2002) shot them to international acclaim, fueled by high-energy riffs, blistering solos, and an electrifying live presence. Over the years, they’ve built a cult following with a relentless commitment to raw, unfiltered rock ‘n’ roll, earning praise for their dynamic stage performances and a catalog spanning seven powerhouse albums.
Time marches on, and so do The Datsuns. Change is inevitable, but the band continues to carve their path through the ever-shifting musical landscape. With decades of rock mastery behind them, they climb the mountain once more, ready to unleash their latest sonic fury upon the masses with unrelenting energy and raw power.
For their 2025 live shows, Swedish drummer Adam Lindmark (Dead Lord) joins the lineup, while other Scandinavian musicians have contributed to recent recordings. Guitarist Christian has overcome a serious hand injury, Phil has been crafting fresh riffs in New Zealand, and Dolf has been collaborating with rockers in Scandinavia, feeding new ideas back to his bandmates.
