Stuurbaard Bakkebaard comes with new album "Feeding The Rats" and tours the Benelux

Stuurbaard Bakkebaard releases Feeding The Rats on March 20th in LAB-1, Eindhoven. More release shows are planned for the first half of 2026.

Stuurbaard Bakkerbaard also known as SBBB is back. This is a band that continues to find new ways to push boundaries, always seeking adventure. Is it experimental rock? Neo-psych? Their music is best described as "a genre unto itself”. This trio has released five albums since 1996 and played hundreds of shows in the Netherlands, Europe, and South Africa.

After their last album, "Boys Do Cry" (PIAS), a temporary lull followed — but certainly not inactivity. Primarily behind the scenes, they created music for film and television, while sketching the contours of something new: new music, meant to be played live. It evolved into their sixth album. SBBB is not a reunion. Not a comeback. This is a new chapter in a story that is far from finished.

Now, they're returning to the stage! You'll hear SBBB at their rawest and most angular yet, with a sound built on fuzz, drums, and their signature bent-language vocals. It's intense, abrasively charming, and strangely danceable. Live, it's a must-see experience:
