Skating Polly release new single "Krobus" and tour with Lord Friday the 13th

Wed 16 Sep 2026

Skating Polly are hitting the road once again, bringing their fearless “ugly-pop” vision to Europe alongside Los Angeles-via-Austin trash-glam-punk outfit Lord Friday the 13th. The extensive tour takes the Oklahoma-bred trio across France, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands and the UK for a run of shows packed with catharsis, chaos and unfiltered punk energy.

For more than a decade, Skating Polly—Kelli Mayo, Peyton Bighorse and Kurtis Mayo—have carved out a unique place in modern punk, combining art-punk abrasion, melodic power-pop and raw emotional honesty. Their acclaimed double album Chaos County Line pushed that sound further, with songs such as “Hickey King,” “I’m Sorry For Always Apologizing” and “Double Decker” showcasing a band unafraid to turn personal chaos into exhilarating, deeply melodic punk.

The band’s latest single, “Krobus,” released in July 2026, finds Skating Polly continuing to embrace their playful and unpredictable side. The track draws directly on video game culture, with its title referencing the mysterious character from Stardew Valley, adding another layer to the band’s ever-expanding musical world.

Joining Skating Polly are Lord Friday the 13th, fronted by siblings Felix and Sloane Lenz. Fresh from their debut album Promoerotica, the band blend punk, glam excess, theatrical performance and gender-defying rebellion into a volatile live experience. Having previously toured together, the two bands share a DIY spirit and a commitment to pushing punk beyond its traditional boundaries.
