Ryan Boldt is the lead singer and songwriter in The Deep Dark Woods crafting beautiful intimate songs that are steeped in traditions found in places like English folk music country blues and 60s R&B. His new solo project "Broadside Ballads" finds him continuing to dig through the past to create spellbinding music for the present.

Jenny Berkel has toured extensively across Canada and Europe sharing the stage with artists like Jenn Grant, Daniel Romano, Rachel Sermanni and the Deep Dark Woods. In the same vein as Leonard Cohen and Sandy Denny, she has created a collection of folk songs that are sometimes brittle, at other times pleasantly buzzing, but always sounding unmistakably like Jenny Berkel.
