Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra is coming in hot across the North Sea

Wed 24 Jun 2026

For more than a decade, Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra have been happily crossing genre lines, fusing Rockabilly, Blues, Country, Swing, Soul and countless other influences into a distinctive musical melting pot that still sounds entirely their own. Although based in Newcastle, the members come from different parts of the UK, and together they have released five albums while touring widely across the British Isles and Europe. Their performances have taken them everywhere from large festivals to cosy village halls, barns, and many places in between.

Celebrated for their high-energy live shows and understated humour, the band have earned a strong reputation as an unmissable live act. Throughout the years, they have continued to evolve musically, inspired by an ever-deepening appreciation for eclectic genres and especially rare blues and country recordings. That constant musical exploration plays a major role in shaping their songwriting. Their forthcoming album, Feet First, was recorded over the course of just two days at Lightning Recorders in Berlin, preserving the raw, live-to-tape atmosphere of the band performing together in the studio. The introduction of saxophone has opened up an exciting new chapter in their sound, and after more than ten years refining their style, the band sound stronger than ever.

Driven by their signature groove, unstoppable energy and infectious enthusiasm, Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra are fully prepared to bring their music to audiences across Europe this summer:
