Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra announce more mainland shows for summer

Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra have been joyfully trampling over genre boundaries for more than a decade, blending Rockabilly, Blues, Country, Swing, Soul and more into their own rich musical gumbo — yet always sounding unmistakably like themselves. Based in Newcastle but with roots across the UK, the band have released five albums and toured extensively throughout the British Isles and Europe, performing everywhere from major festivals to intimate village halls and barns, and everything in between.
Renowned for their energetic live performances and dry sense of humour, the band have built a reputation as a must-see act on the road. Over the years they have continually expanded their sound, drawing inspiration from an ever-growing love of eclectic musical styles, particularly obscure blues and country records. This restless curiosity feeds directly into their songwriting. Their upcoming album, Feet First, was recorded in just two days at Lightning Recorders in Berlin, capturing the raw, live, straight-to-tape energy of the band in the room. The addition of saxophone has pushed their sound into an exciting new era — after more than a decade of honing their craft, they have never sounded better.
With their unmistakable groove, boundless energy and infectious spirit, Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra are more than ready to bring this to European audiences this summer:
