Pansy Division and The Queers in Utrecht this month
Fri 10 Jul 2026Pansy Division, the pioneering gay pop-punk band formed in San Francisco in 1991 by Jon Ginoli and Chris Freeman, helped redefine underground rock with their openly queer identity, sharp humor, and catchy, high-energy songs. Blending 60s pop sensibilities with 70s punk attitude, the band built a cult following throughout the ’90s with bold, provocative lyrics and a message of inclusion that challenged both rock and queer cultural norms.
Now over 30 years into their career, and returning to Europe for their first full tour since 1998, Pansy Division continue to bring their distinctive mix of wit, defiance, and hooks to new audiences. As part of the tour, they will play a single Dutch show in Utrecht alongside The Queers:
