"On God’s Time" takes Johnny Delaware to Sweden

Johnny Delaware, co-founder and former member of SUSTO, comes with new album On God’s Time via Normaltown/New West Records. Recorded in Mexico City and Charleston, the 10-song collection is a lush, cinematic exploration of mortality, love, loss and gratitude, blending Americana, psychedelic folk and indie rock with the raw, instinctive feel of live performances.

Following 2024’s Para Llevar, On God’s Time finds Delaware returning to the sounds he grew up with in South Dakota while embracing a more spiritual and reflective side of his songwriting. The album looks at mortality not as something to fear, but as a reminder to make the most of life and live as authentically as possible.

To celebrate the release, Delaware will embark on an extensive Scandinavian tour in September, with 16 dates across Sweden:
