Lera Lynn's Europe tour with new album "Comic Book Cowboy" is about to start
Tue 16 Sep 2025Lera Lynn is a genre-defying singer-songwriter known for her haunting voice, cinematic soundscapes, and fiercely independent spirit. She first rose to prominence with her music and on-screen role in HBO’s True Detective, and has since built a devoted following through her poetic songwriting, immersive live shows, and releases on her own label, Ruby Range Records.
Her upcoming ninth studio album, Comic Book Cowboy (out September 19), explores identity, fantasy, and the tension between who we are and who we're expected to be. Both raw and subtly self-aware, the record delivers lush production, layered harmonies, and a darkly beautiful honesty. Co-produced with Todd Lombardo and featuring contributions from Ian Fitchuk and Konrad Snyder, the album blends grunge, Americana, and ‘90s pop rock influences with Lynn’s signature moody style.
Singles “Comic Book Cowboy” and “Cherry Tree” are out now. Lynn will support the release with a European tour starting this month:
