Lance Roark makes European debut at Take Root and London
Thu 29 Oct 2026Oklahoma singer-songwriter Lance Roark is heading to Europe for the first time, bringing his band to London’s The Grace on November 5 and the Take Root Festival in Groningen on November 7.
Rooted in the Red Dirt country tradition, Roark blends country songwriting with Southern rock, blues and bluegrass, creating a sound marked by gritty vocals, driving rhythms and storytelling drawn from everyday life. His connection with Turnpike Troubadours bassist RC Edwards helped set his career in motion, leading to collaborations and a co-writing credit on the band’s song “Chipping Mill.”
Following his 2023 debut EP Better Man and 2024’s Tenkiller, Roark released his first full-length album, Bad Reputation, in November 2025 via Thirty Tigers. The 11-track record reflects his Oklahoma roots and the personal experiences that have shaped his music, marking a new chapter for an artist whose profile continues to grow on the American country and Americana scene.
