Jenny Don't and the Spurs return to the Netherlands

Fri 14 Aug 2026

For more than a decade, Jenny Don't and the Spurs have carved out their own unmistakable corner of Country Western music. Blending classic honky-tonk traditions with the untamed spirit of garage rock, the band has built a reputation for electrifying live shows, relentless touring, and a sound that feels both timeless and refreshingly original. Their music has taken them far beyond the usual country circuit, earning devoted audiences across Europe, Australia, and beyond.

At the heart of the band is Jenny Don't, whose independent attitude and authentic outlaw mentality define both her songwriting and stage presence. Inspired by the rugged beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the endless horizons of the American Southwest, her songs balance classic country storytelling with raw rock 'n' roll energy. Backed by driving rhythms, fuzzy guitar tones, and a powerful western groove, the Spurs create a sound where the ghosts of traditional country meet the grit of surf and garage rock—think Dick Dale sharing the highway with Johnny Paycheck and George Jones.

The current line-up features Buddy Weeks on drums, adding fresh energy to an already road-tested band. Together with bassist Kelly Halliburton and lead guitarist Christopher March, whose reverb-soaked guitar evokes the vastness of the desert at night, the Spurs continue to push forward without losing sight of their roots. Rather than chasing trends, they remain committed to honest songs, genuine performances, and the freedom to follow their own path.

Even the band's signature rhinestone outfits, handmade by Jenny herself, reflect that same dedication to craftsmanship and individuality. Every detail, on and off the stage, is part of what makes Jenny Don't and the Spurs one of the most distinctive acts in modern Country Western.

This August, Jenny Don't and the Spurs return to Europe for a run of festival appearances, including a very special performance opening for Toody Cole and Her Band during Dead Moon Night:
