January dates for Caleb Caudle with "Heavy Thrill"

Tue 06 Oct 2026

Caleb Caudle’s new album Heavy Thrill marks a pivotal chapter in both his life and career. Following a steady journey from small stages in the North Carolina foothills to the Grand Ole Opry, Caudle now embraces a new perspective as he and his wife prepare to become first-time parents. The album reflects this sense of change, focusing on resilience, acceptance and making the most of what life puts in your path.

For Heavy Thrill, Caudle takes full creative control, self-producing for the first time and recording at the legendary Cash Cabin in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Rooted in the country traditions he grew up with while drawing on the indie music of his youth, the 10-track album feels both deeply grounded and restless. Songs such as “Slow Growth,” “The Ballad of Country Ham” and “Anxious” explore patience, ambition and empathy, while others offer intimate portraits of people navigating difficult choices and uncertain circumstances.

The album’s themes are reflected in the launch of Caudle’s own label, Handplow Records, named after the old steel handplow that has been part of his family’s history for generations. For Caudle, it represents the value of hard work, perseverance and doing things the hard way. “You can’t always control the weather, but you can show up every day and give it your best,” he says.
