Henry Wagons reschedules dates to November

Thu 21 May 2026

Henry Wagons is one of Australia’s most distinctive creative voices—an acclaimed musician, broadcaster, and performer known for his commanding stage presence, deep storytelling, and unmistakable baritone. Over the past two decades, he has become a key figure in Australia’s Americana and alt-country scene, releasing seven albums with Wagons and three solo records that blend poetic songwriting with darker, theatrical country influences.

A captivating live performer, Henry moves effortlessly between full-band shows, intimate solo performances, and his critically praised Johnny Cash tribute production, CASH: The American Recordings. His performances combine raw emotion, sharp wit, and storytelling flair, blurring the line between concert, cabaret, and confessional.

Beyond music, Henry is the longtime host of Tower of Song on Double J (ABC), Australia’s only national Americana/alt-country radio program, and a familiar face across Australian television.

In 2025, Henry launched Queenie & Hank, a new collaboration with Melbourne vocalist Queenie (Eloise Thetford). Their self-titled debut album blends smoky twang, lush harmonies, and a modern take on classic country duets, drawing inspiration from pairings like Nancy & Lee and Dolly & Kenny while carving out a sound entirely their own. Written and recorded at Henry’s Trentwood Studio and co-produced by Damian Cafarella, the record captures the natural chemistry between the two artists—playful, cinematic, and deeply heartfelt.

The June dates unfortunatley got postponed but the good news is there's one more show added. Go see Henry Wagons next November in the Netherlands:
05/11: Leiden, NL - Q-Bus
06/11: Nijmegen, NL - Doornroosje with Ron Pope
07/11: Groningen, NL - Take Root Festival
