Ferocious Dog's final year, with four Dutch shows this month
Fri 13 Nov 2026After years of noisy folk punk, sweaty stages, and late-night drives, Ferocious Dog have announced that 2026 will be their final year as a band. The Nottinghamshire outfit shared the news with an emotional statement thanking their loyal following, known as the Hell Hounds, for supporting them from backroom pubs to stages across the UK and Europe. Describing themselves as a grassroots, working-class punk band that has never forgotten its roots, the band are preparing to bring their journey to a close with one final year of live shows.
That year is almost coming to and end and of course means Ferocious Dog will return to the Netherlands for four shows this month. Known for their energetic blend of folk and punk, the band have built a reputation for combining infectious melodies with narrative-driven lyrics addressing social, political, and personal issues. Their latest album, Kleptocracy (2024), reached No. 3 in The May Folk Album Chart and received praise from publications including RnR Magazine and Vive Le Rock.
“We’re not bowing out quietly,” the band stated, promising to make the most of their final year on the road. After more than a decade of releases and relentless touring, the upcoming Dutch dates offer another opportunity to experience Ferocious Dog's spirited live show before their farewell run in 2026. “Let’s tear it up together one last time,” they conclude.
