Esther Rose tours Europe with Andrew Combs and new album "Want"

Esther Rose’s fifth album, Want, begins with a playful thought during a solo drive but quickly evolved into a striking collection of songs exploring desire in all its forms—romantic, existential, and everyday. Her knack for combining pop sensibilities with country roots and punk energy results in melodies that are as catchy as they are emotionally resonant. The title track sets the tone for an album that is deeply personal, reflective, and grounded in lived experience.

Recorded live-to-tape in Nashville with producer Ross Farbe and a tight-knit group of collaborators, Want marks Rose’s boldest sonic leap yet. It builds on the storytelling of her earlier works while embracing raw, full-band arrangements and genre-blending experimentation. From delicate solo moments to gritty, electrified bursts, the album holds a steady emotional current, reflecting her journey through burnout, sobriety, and artistic rediscovery.
