Erin Rae tours across the UK this month including Boia Festival appearance
Thu 15 Oct 2026Since the release of her 2018 debut Putting On Airs, Erin Rae has established herself as one of Nashville’s distinctive singer-songwriters, continually expanding her sound with each release. Her 2022 album Lighten Up marked a period of personal and musical evolution, bringing together collaborators including Jonathan Wilson, Kevin Morby and Hand Habits for a record that moved between psychedelia, cosmic country and Topanga Canyon-inspired indie folk.
Erin Rae recently released her version of Whip-Poor-Will, a song written by Jason Molina. It was recorded by Rae for the original motion picture soundtrack of Lovers, which premiered in March:
Rae has also built a reputation as a captivating live performer, earning a 2019 Americana Music Awards nomination for Emerging Act of the Year and making a memorable appearance at Newport Folk Festival in 2023, where she joined sets by artists including Margo Price, Mavis Staples, Brittany Howard and Tommy Prine. She has toured and shared stages with the likes of Gregory Alan Isakov, Ray LaMontagne, Angel Olsen, Hiss Golden Messenger, Jenny Lewis, Jason Isbell, Iron & Wine and Father John Misty.
This month Rae is over for a series of solo shows across the UK centered around an appearance at the Boia Festival in Wales. The run includes stops in London, Bristol, Liverpool and Gateshead, as well as two intimate dates on the Shetland Islands:
