Early James returns to the Netherlands this October/November
Thu 26 Jun 2025Rising American singer-songwriter Early James is set to return to The Netherlands later this year, as part of a wider European run that also includes stops in France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Denmark:
18/10: Utrecht, NL - Ramblin' Roots
25/10: Hengelo, NL - Metropool
28/10: Nijmegen, NL - Merleyn
29/10: Amsterdam, NL - Paradiso w/ Red Clay Strays SOLD OUT
01/11: Groningen, NL - Take Root
Medium Raw, recorded in a century-old Nashville house dubbed the “Honky Chateau,” strips away studio polish in favor of intimate, lived-in soundscapes. Produced by Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys, Easy Eye Sound), the album channels the spirit of field recordings by blues legends like Lightnin’ Hopkins and Fred McDowell.
James, known for his whip-smart wordplay, dark humor, and literary bent, says fans can expect something unique at every show. “I’m trying to play dress-up with this record on the road,” he notes. “You never know what it’s going to be wearing. It depends on what thrift store we get to.”
The Netherlands dates promise to showcase James’ genre-blurring blend of blues, country, and rock, delivered with the unvarnished honesty that has earned him a devoted following on both sides of the Atlantic.
