Duke Garwood announces news shows for 2026

Duke Garwood released his new album, Satin Warrior, on 16 May 2025 via God Unknown Records. The record navigates landscapes of hope and foreboding, blending long-form compositions that sit between improvisation and structured songwriting. Joined by longterm collaborator, free-improvising drummer Paul May, Garwood layers a range of instruments to build hypnotic, fully realized songs. Next May Duke comes over to the mainland for a trio of shows:

Satin Warrior fuses jazz elements with Garwood’s fractured, blues-infused guitar, augmented by ensemble horns and kinetic rhythms. His soft, gravelly vocals guide listeners through poetic, dreamlike visions, letting glimpses of reality shine through. With a career spanning over three decades and collaborations with Mark Lanegan, Savages, The Orb, and Morcheeba, Garwood remains a singular and influential voice in modern music.
