Canadian punk pioneers Gob return to the Netherlands

Mon 14 Sep 2026

Canadian punk rock pioneers Gob are back and ready to continue their legacy, bringing their infectious, hook-heavy sound to the Netherlands this September. Formed in British Columbia in 1993, the band have spent more than three decades carving out their place in punk history with songs including “Soda,” “I Hear You Calling” and “Give Up the Grudge.”

With six full-length albums, Juno nominations, Gold record certifications and more than 300,000 physical records sold, Gob have built a reputation that stretches far beyond Canada. Their energetic live shows have taken them from the Vans Warped Tour and major festivals to Japan’s legendary Budokan.

After releasing Apt 13 in 2014 and taking a semi-hiatus while guitarist Tom Thacker focused on his work with Sum 41, Gob are now back on the road. The band recently reissued their catalogue on vinyl through Dine Alone Records, including albums receiving vinyl releases for the first time.

Gob will play three Dutch shows in September:
