Aaron Lee Tasjan's European tour behind "Get Over It, Underdog" starts soon

Grammy-nominated songwriter and guitarist Aaron Lee Tasjan returns with Get Over It, Underdog, his most personal and inspired album to date — a record born from uncertainty, creative renewal, and a renewed belief in the power of songwriting.

At a low point in his career, despite a celebrated catalogue including In the Blazes, Karma for Cheap, and Stellar Evolution, Tasjan reached out to his mentor Todd Snider for advice. Snider’s heartfelt response encouraged him to strip away expectations, return to the roots of his craft, and rediscover his confidence as an independent artist. The result is an album that celebrates resilience, friendship, and the determination to keep moving forward.

Produced by Tasjan and longtime collaborator Mark Miller, Get Over It, Underdog blends sharp Americana storytelling with indie rock energy and timeless songwriting. Across tracks like “Science Friction,” “Lost & Alone,” “Twilight Zone Blues,” and “The Real,” Tasjan explores identity, perseverance, and the search for authenticity in a changing world.

Following the completion of the album, Tasjan lost Snider, a devastating loss that left a lasting impact on the folk-rock community. Carrying his mentor’s spirit forward, Tasjan continues to champion outsiders and underdogs through songs that connect, challenge, and inspire.
