The Dwarves Invented Rock 'n' Roll, hit Amsterdam and Rotterdam this Spring

16-02-2015

The Dwarves are Rock Legends. Birthed in the garage rock revival of the 1980's over 30 years ago they continue to confound and confront audiences all over the world with searing live shows and masterful new records. Their latest, 2014's "The Dwarves Invented Rock 'n' Roll" (Recess) and 2015's accompanying "Gentlemen Blag" EP (Fat Wreck) have them sounding as energized as ever.

The San Francisco-via-Chicago punks are back in NL for TWO shows this April:

25-04-2015: Amsterdam (NL) @ Paradiso Noord, Tolhuistuin
26-04-2015: Rotterdam (NL) @ Baroeg

Coming to prominence as one of Sub Pop's first signing The Dwarves reputation for live madness earned the fear and loathing of grunge era crowds and the shock and awe of their peers. The classic 1990s LP "Blood, Guts & Pussy" helped to awaken a nation anaesthetized by hair metal and cry baby flannel. The LPs that followed on Epitaph, Sympathy, Recess, etc. solidified their legendary status. Today, with over 1200 shows under their belt and three decades of sickness to draw from, The Dwarves continue their assault on good taste with "The Dwarves Invented Rock 'n' Roll". The relentless middle finger drive, catchy songwriting and deft production that set The Dwarves apart have never sounded better. And let’s face it, there’s only one punk band left that matters, so catch them in April! Tickets ON SALE now!
