The Dead South to play Amsterdam in November and postpone spring dates to 2022

16-12-2020

A rock band without a drummer, a bluegrass band without a fiddler. To the gentlemen of The Dead South, a self-styled 4-piece string band from Regina, Saskatchewan, it’s about how, not what, you play. The Dead South’s combination of cello, mandolin, guitar and banjo has all the hallmarks of a group tuned to bygone times, but with their signature sleight of hand, the band find distinctly modern bathos in this old time rigging.

On their third album, Sugar & Joy, they would have been touring Europe last spring. Due the the circumstances in the world we all know off the sold out shows in Antwerp and Utrecht where postponed  to March 2021. The sad news is that again these two sold out shows will be postponed with an other year. The good news is that we're able to announce an extra gig in Amsterdam that's on sale since today:

2021
01/07 Werchter, BE - Rock Werchter
03/11 Amsterdam, NL - Melkweg - NEW SHOW

2022
02/03 Utrecht, NL - TivoliVredenburg - SOLD OUT
03/03 Antwerpen, BE - De Roma - SOLD OUT
