Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra in Benelux THIS WEEKEND!

Step forward Rob Heron and the Tea Pad Orchestra. A combination of offbeat, quirky lyrics and wonderfully tight and inventive musicianship raises their latest album "Talk About The Weather" firmly out of the humdrum. Heron’s smokey, expressive vocals and keen sense of dynamics inject a sense of continuity into a varied repertoire of upbeat ragtime and swing numbers, country songs and a mambo. There is a real sense of fun and occasion that runs throughout the album. Last year Newcastle's Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra released this album which was listed as Best Of 2014 on Folk Radio UK. With this album they hit almost every town in the United Kingdom. So now it's time to expand into new territories!

Grasnapolsky festival asked Rob and his band to come over and perform at a beautiful boutique amphitheatre. There is no tickets left for the Friday, SOLD OUT. There is two other opportunities to see the band's premiering Benelux shows; they're here TODAY, tomorrow and on Saturday:

Rob Heron and his band hark back to a golden age whilst staying perfectly modern. A more eclectic style than most, influenced by early 20th Century American music, with the addition of razor-sharp solos, great arrangements and original songs. The songs are penned by Rob Heron, a crazy fool for country music and a full time dandy-cowboy.
